Performance Company:

This is the last official year of Cornerstone Performance Company! We plan to switch our tittle to Jubilee Performance Company beginning in the fall term of 2024. 

Performance Company is a musical theatre troupe

dedicated to artistry, technique and professionalism. CPC is under the umbrella of Jubilee Performing Arts and is well known within the community. We perform at local institutions and events as well as one theme park annually. Students must be committed to practicing material at home for in class auditions and rehearsals and must be committed to the full school year. We strive to teach professionalism in and Musical Theatre performance technique to prepare students for that field.

During the 2023-24 season tuition for the performance company will run through Jubilee Performing Arts. The flat $150 materials check fee must be written to Cornerstone Ballet and turned in with your Performance Company contract in studio. 

 

CPC Meets From 6:00-7:30 PM on Wednesdays

*CPC Senior Company Meets From 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesdays

Senior company is for Jr/Sr High students with a minimum of one year in Performance Co or by audition/invitation.

Tuition:

CPC runs like any other class on our fee schedule (90 minutes or 120 minutes for Sr co) plus a flat rate of $150 per student for the 2023-24 school year to help cover materials. Tuition is paid through Jubilee Performing Arts but the materials check fro the 2023-24 season must be paid to Cornerstone Ballet. 

 

Prerequisites:

• maturity in taking direction and correction 

• commitment to the Company for the full school year 

• encourager of other students in the CPC cast  

• enrollment in at least one other weekly dance technique class through JPA 

• Payment and Actor contract completed 

• Age in general is age 7+ or by audition/invitation

 

CPC Students Will Need:

• CPC Garment Bag ($15)

• foundation leotard, females ($20) 

• classic transition tights, females ($12)

• black scoop neck short sleeved leotard, females ($25) or black shirt sleeved t shirt (males)

• Red Theatre t shirt ($20)

• black dance pants (males)

• Black Circle Skirt, Sr Co females ($20)

• TBD black Jazz pants, females  ($30)

• tan Jazz shoes

• plain white sneakers and white socks 

• JR CO option only: Plain white polo shirt (no emblems) instead of CPC Polo

• CPC Polo shirt ($25) 

Females: long solid colored peasant skirt and any color peasant blouse or long solid colored peasant dress

Females, Sr. Company only: This dress (link coming soon)

Males: white "band collar" shirt, waistcoat, slacks
